Starting Fall, 2019, two postdoctoral positions are available for a period of up to 3 years with Regenerative Stem Cell Engineering Laboratory at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, U.S.A. The research group is funded by the Department of Defense and studies regeneration of spiral ganglion neurons using human pluripotent stem cells. The research group is in collaboration with Dr. Guillermo Ameer and John Rogers (McCormick School of Engineering, Northwestern University) to develop the next generation of biohybrid cochlear implant. Our group encourages multidisciplinary science. The candidate will be working on these topics and experience in one or more of the following—electrophysiology (auditory brain stem response (acoustically-evoked and electrically-evoked), electrical engineering, material science (designing a nano-scale electrode) and or computational neuroscience--is preferable.Please send me your CV and three references to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
