We are seeking an experienced behavioral health tech who has worked for a minimum of one year with adolescents and children.
Will be scheduled for five 8-hour shifts each week, including some weekends as needed.
Position performs assigned patient care activities. Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities.
Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens.
Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education and staff meetings.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field.
Minimum of one year experience working with children and adolescents on an inpatient psychiatric unit or related mental health setting.
Required: BLS required. CPI to be obtained during hospital orientation.
