The Nursing Administration Clinical Educator has the responsibility and accountability to provide support for both internal and external students and new graduate nurses. The Educator will serve as an ambassador and mentor to the nurse externs and nurse residents through consistent positive engagement, communication and rounding as they transition from student to RN role. The Liaison will also collaborate with hospital, school and community leaders regarding health and career related activities and programs. The Educator will coordinate and monitor the operation of the discharge area to promote patient flow and throughput. He/she must have flexibility with regard to schedule, and must promote harmony and teamwork.
Minimum of five years of nursing practice that includes sufficient clinical and leadership experience to ensure competence.
Experience leading projects and student initiatives.
