About the Role
The RN Supervisor provides frontline leadership and operational oversight for the Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit. This role supports a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care, while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff on a dynamic Med Surg/Tele Trauma unit
- Promote a positive team environment, mentoring and developing staff to achieve their full potential
- Coordinate daily operations including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with BSWH policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives
- Partner with leadership to drive quality, safety, and patient experience goals
- Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Respond to patient care concerns and assist with clinical decision-making as needed

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN preferred
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care experience, preferably in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Trauma
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team leadership skills

Job Summary
Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Associate's Degree
- MAJOR - Nursing
- EXPERIENCE - (2) Two Years of Experience
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
